"The WELCOME Framework is a new guide with practical, easy tips to help tourism businesses become more accessible and inclusive.
The framework was developed by Austrade and all state and territory governments as an action of THRIVE 2030, Australia’s visitor economy strategy, which makes accessible tourism a priority.
Excitingly, Tasmania's Gorge Scenic Chairlift was a leading participant in the project and has been featured as a case study for the framework. You can read how the project helped the Gorge Scenic Chairlift enhance its accessibility on the Austrade website."
We've always tried to make the chairlift experience enjoyable for all, and we're proud to have led the way on implementing this framework.
